- Takes anywhere from 60 to 120 days to clear.
- Written authorization from DMV required before a sale date can be set.
Note: Must advertise the sale by running a newspaper ad no more than 20 days and no less than 5 days before the sale. Ad need only run one day and the newspaper must be a paper with general circulation in the county of the sale.
